Nationally recognized and Grammy Award-winning bluegrass artists will make it a memorable day.

Gulf Coast Jazz Festival

Perhaps the biggest attraction of the fall season is the 8th annual Gulf Coast Jazz Festival in the Pensacola Community Maritime Park. The outdoor music event will be filled with jazz greats such as Lee Ritenour, Lindsey Webster, Maysa, Richard Elliot and Julian Vaughn among others. Two days of cool jazz on the water will not disappoint! The Jerry Pate Design team enjoyed helping to craft the outdoor spaces for this gorgeous park, and we hope you have a great time here too!

Gathering Under the Stars

September 20-22

Experiencing the serenity and spiritual uplift that the outdoors can provide is first and foremost at the Gathering Under the Stars. This three day celebration of the autumn equinox promises to be a fulfilling event with a focus on the healing power of music and dance. The gathering takes place in the Big Lagoon State Park in Pensacola. Enjoy views of the water and sunsets. Meanwhile, be rejuvenated by the artistry of MaMuse, Voxmana and Ananda Das in the Big Lagoon amphitheater.

Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival

November 1st through 3rd

An event devoted to art in many forms would not be complete without good music. The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is no exception. The annual event in downtown Pensacola’s Historic Seville Square features a variety of performers ranging from bluegrass to Cajun and blues to jazz and classical. Be sure to catch the Palafox Quartet named for the Pensacola street where the musicians met.

Pensacola Winterfest

November 6th through 30th

The Pensacola Winterfest kicks off the holiday season with a variety of family-friendly shows and activities throughout the month of November. On each night of the festival, preshows are presented for free to the public. Starting at 5:00, families can sing and dance with their favorite characters in the Winterfest plaza at Government and Palafox.

Whatever your musical tastes, we hope you can find the time to visit one of these must-see Pensacola outdoor music events. From local artists to nationally recognized performers, Pensacola has a lot of outdoor music enjoyment to offer in the coming months.
